1. General Information

Protecting your personal data is of particular importance to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003).

2. Age Restrictions / Youth Protection

Our app “Bibe” is intended only for users who are legally permitted to consume alcohol in their country of residence.

  • In countries where the legal drinking age is 18, the app may only be used by persons aged 18 or older.
  • In countries where the legal drinking age is 16, the app may only be used by persons aged 16 or older.

The app is marked in the App Store with an age rating of 17+. Use by younger persons is not permitted. We do not knowingly process data from users who have not reached the applicable age limit. Should such data nevertheless come to our attention, we will delete it immediately.

3. Data Collection and Processing in the App

The app “Bibe” does not store or process personal data such as names or email addresses on our servers. No user accounts are created and no personal data is transmitted to us.

4. Local Data Storage

Player names entered within the app are stored solely on the respective device. These data are visible only to the user and are not transmitted to us or to third parties.

5. Device Data and Crash Information

To improve stability and user-friendliness, the app may automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, and crash reports. This information is collected exclusively in an anonymized form and does not contain any personal data.

6. Rating Function

The app uses the native Apple rating feature (SKStoreReviewController). No personal data are processed in this context.

7. Internet Connection

An active internet connection is required for certain functions (e.g., transmitting reviews via Apple systems). However, there is no server-side communication with the provider.

8. Hosting

The app and our website are hosted on servers of IONOS SE (Germany/Europe). No transfer of personal data to third countries outside the EU takes place.

9. No Advertising, No Tracking Tools

The app does not contain advertising, in-app purchases, or external analytics or tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar services.

10. Legal Basis of Processing

If personal data are processed at all, this is done on the following legal bases:

  • Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract, e.g., use of the app),
  • Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests in stability, security, and improvement of the app),
  • Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent, e.g., for optional features).

11. Storage Period

Personal data are stored only as long as necessary for the respective purposes and are then deleted or anonymized.

12. User Rights

Users have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy to comply with legal requirements or to reflect changes to the app. The current version is always available in the app.
